3 Properties of Color:
Identify a color: is it yellow hue or yellow-green hue, how dark/light is its value, and how intense is it or is it intensity lowered?
HueHue is the basic name of a color so that we know its placement on the color wheel in considering color schemes.

ValueValue is adding black (shades) and white (tint) to a color. You can also add gray to a color to create a Tone. Don't just use the basic colors of the color wheel. MIX

IntensityIntensity is the brightness of a color. Add its opposite color (complementary) located across from it on the color wheel. It will make the color more neutral.
