INKTOBER
Mrs. Welka's student will be participating in the Inktober contest. Each week 9-12th grade art students will be asked to create just one ink based on any prompt from the official Inktober prompt sheet above. Entries will be posted on the bulletin board across from the art room. Prizes will be awarded for those participating for the entire month of October (4 ink drawings) inktober pamplhlet fold into a pamphlet with pen and ink tips, and brainstorming. Search YouTube on each day. Ex Inktober 2019 Day 10 will show you Pattern videos from tons of artsists or search by hashtag on your social media. Brainstorm
Pick a word from the prompt list. Vague word don't tell you specifically what to draw. Specific words can limit your brainstorming. If I say the word Ring, you might think of something on your finger. You have to go beyond that! Overthink your word you choose try to think of it in more than one way! : brainstorm a list of at least 10 things. For example the word Ring: treering, ring around the tub, coffee ring, ring of chocolate milk on your lips, nose ring
